Here are links for pen and paper roleplaying games, board games, card games, and everything that goes with these games that we found interesting on the week of January 2nd, 2015.
Happy New Year and welcome 2015!
One Seven Design This is a little website I stumbled upon with some unique free-to-play roleplaying games. They are very unique and, in my humble opinion, very well done. There are a couple that I am really interested in playing for a one-shot just to see how they play out.
Jade Gaming News This is another website that I stumbled upon and will be returning to. They write about card games, miniature games, and tabletop roleplaying games with a heavy emphasis on D&D (all editions). It is cool to think there are still active groups out there playing neat games like 2nd Edition Al-Qadim and loving it!
The BEST Star Wars Fan Art To Date Guaranteed! (Tommylandz) If you are a Star Wars fan, this link will bring you to some of the best Star Wars art I’ve ever seen. Looking at the pictures conjured up all sorts of cool ideas for my own Star Wars campaign. It will be inspirational for you too if you’re running a Star Wars campaign. If you’re not, it is still really cool to look at.
One Page Dungeon I stumbled over to this site from Alex Schroeder’s site (alexschroeder.ch). One Page Dungeon is just that, a site with different dungeons that all fit on one page. The dungeons listed vary in quality from black and white, to full color, to hand drawn maps, to computer generated, and so on. It’s a very interesting concept with an interesting history.
RPG Blog Carnival January 2015 (Contact Light) The first blog carnival topic for 2015 will be New Year, New World. It is hosted by Contact Light. It sounds like an interesting and unique topic that I’ll be looking forward to writing an entry for. Check it out!
We browse many roleplaying websites, articles, and social media connections each week. If you’d like to be listed on here, please contact use via our Contact page!
